AEDP
AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) is a compassionate, trauma-informed therapy approach that helps you experience emotional healing through connection. Rooted in attachment theory, AEDP supports people who are ready to move through anxiety, trauma, shame, or relationship challenges by tuning into the wisdom of the body and the nervous system.
In our sessions, we’ll focus on building a strong, safe relationship – because healing happens in connection. As we build trust, I’ll gently track your emotional experience in real time, including subtle cues in your voice, body, and energy. Together, we’ll slow down and explore what’s happening underneath the surface, staying close to any vulnerable feelings that may have been too overwhelming to process in the past.
AEDP creates space for corrective emotional experiences – where you feel deeply seen, heard, and valued in ways you may not have before. These moments can be incredibly powerful for healing old attachment wounds and helping you feel more grounded, whole, and alive.
Many people describe AEDP as a blend of relational psychotherapy and somatic therapy, with a special focus on the nervous system and emotional transformation. It can feel mysterious at first, but often becomes a deeply moving, life-changing experience – one where you get to come home to yourself.
